Built-In BMS Protection

The integrated battery-management system provides manufacturer-listed protection for high or low voltage, over-current, short circuit and temperature conditions, with cell balancing. Protective electronics reduce risk but do not replace correctly designed cabling, fusing, isolation, charging equipment or installation practices.

Inverter and Load Compatibility

The 100A continuous-discharge rating limits the sustained current available to connected loads. Check the inverter’s DC input current at the intended AC load, including efficiency losses and appliance start-up surge. Do not use the 200A seven-second rating as a continuous limit or assume compatibility based only on battery capacity.

Compatible loads can include 12V fridges, lighting, pumps and electronics when their energy and current requirements fit the system. High-wattage heating or cooking appliances require careful current and runtime calculations.

Charging and Installation

Use a LiFePO4-compatible solar controller, DC-DC charger or mains charger within the stated 50A charge-current limit and the manufacturer’s voltage and temperature requirements. Do not charge below 0°C unless current manufacturer instructions specifically permit it.

Only use series or parallel configurations permitted by the manual, with identical batteries of the same model, age and state of charge. Use correctly rated cable, fusing and secure mounting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this battery replace an AGM battery?

Only after confirming that the charger, solar controller, DC-DC charger, wiring and load equipment are compatible with LiFePO4 voltage and charging requirements.

How much usable energy does it provide?

Nominal energy is approximately 1,920Wh. Actual usable energy depends on the BMS, discharge rate, temperature, wiring losses, state of charge and manufacturer guidance.
