Charging a 170Ah AGM Battery

Larger batteries require correctly sized charging equipment. Use an AGM-compatible solar regulator, mains charger or DC-DC charger with settings that comply with the battery specifications. Charging current, cable size, fuse protection and connection quality should be appropriate for the system.

The 2.04kWh figure is nominal capacity rather than guaranteed usable output. Runtime will vary according to appliance load, discharge rate, temperature, battery condition, cable losses and inverter efficiency.
