Controller and wiring requirements
A solar charge controller is required and is not included. The two panels can be configured in series or parallel only where the selected controller or inverter accepts the complete array voltage and current. Series wiring increases voltage; parallel wiring increases current.
Choose a correctly sized MPPT solar charge controller. Also verify cable size, connector ratings, fusing, isolation, battery-charging current and inverter demand before installation.
Installation planning
- Confirm roof or mounting-surface dimensions and structural support for two panels.
- Confirm the Z-brackets are suitable for the specific mounting surface and installation method.
- Allow for safe cable routes, weather sealing, airflow and service access.
- Use qualified installation assistance where required.
Output and capacity guidance
Panel ratings are measured under standard test conditions. Actual solar production varies with sunlight, temperature, angle, shade, cleanliness, cable losses and controller efficiency. Battery runtime varies with load, inverter losses, discharge rate, temperature and usable depth of discharge.
