Designed for compatible 48V-class systems

This battery's 51.2V nominal voltage is commonly associated with 48V-class LiFePO4 energy-storage architecture. Before purchase, verify the inverter/charger DC input range, LiFePO4 charge profile, maximum charge current, discharge demand, BMS communication protocol, cable sizing, over-current protection and isolation requirements.

Do not assume that a unit labelled “48V” is automatically compatible. The installer or equipment manufacturer should confirm the complete voltage window from the listed discharge limits through the 58.4V charge cut-off.

Installation and operating considerations

The 42kg battery must be securely installed in a suitable dry, ventilated location that respects the IP21 rating and listed temperature limits. Installation, cabling, fusing, isolation and commissioning should be completed by a suitably competent person in accordance with the current product manual and applicable Australian requirements.

Browse the main LiFePO4 battery range, noting that most caravan-focused products are 12V and are not interchangeable with this 51.2V model.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this battery in a 12V caravan system?

No. This 51.2V battery requires a compatible 48V-class system. It must not be connected to ordinary 12V or 24V equipment.

Does it work with every 48V inverter?

No. Confirm the inverter/charger's full DC voltage range, charge settings, current limits and any BMS communication requirements before ordering.

How much energy does it store?

The nominal energy is 5.12kWh. Actual usable AC energy will be lower after inverter, wiring and conversion losses and any reserve maintained by the system.

Can batteries be connected in parallel?

No series or parallel limit is stated in the supplied specification. Do not combine units unless the current VoltX documentation expressly permits the proposed configuration and the complete system is professionally designed.
