Charging and inverter compatibility

Use an AGM-compatible charger or MPPT solar controller configured within the stated charging range. The supplied 1,550A figure applies for five seconds and must not be treated as a continuous inverter rating.

Account for inverter efficiency, appliance start-up surge and simultaneous DC loads. Cable size, fusing, isolation and battery mounting must be designed for the installation and the battery's 35kg weight.

Storage and battery care

Charge the battery on receipt and recharge it promptly after use. During long storage, the supplier recommends charging at least every three months. Avoid prolonged deep discharge and verify charger settings against the current Giantz instructions.
