Charging and inverter compatibility

Before replacing an AGM battery, confirm that every charger, solar controller, alternator-charging source, cable and protection device is suitable for LiFePO4. A physical fit alone does not make an existing system lithium-compatible.

Use a compatible MPPT controller or DC–DC charger within the stated charging range. When pairing the battery with a power inverter, calculate continuous current and start-up surge and use the 200A rated discharge current as the conservative continuous system limit unless the manufacturer confirms otherwise.
